Valentine’s Day has gone to the dogs…literally! My three dogs are among the great loves of my life. I do as much as I can to show them how much they mean to me. That includes buying them special treats on holidays! After all, Valentine’s treats aren’t just awesome for people! Our beloved pets love them too!
Make February 13th Valentine’s Day for Dogs
This year, let’s celebrate our wonderful animal companions by making February 13th Valentine’s Day For Dogs! We’ll turn it into a national holiday! Make it a day to give our pups the attention they deserve. How? Maybe we can take them for an extra special walk or buy them a brand new toy! My dog Maia LOVES getting new ‘babies.” She carries new plush toys around everywhere, just like a toddler with a new stuffed animal.
Of course, we can’t have Valentine’s Day for Dogs without treats, right? I mean, treats are my favorite part of the holiday. Obviously, we can’t buy our pooches a box of chocolates (not safe for dogs!). I buy extra Milk-Bone dog treats for the holidays for my dogs.
Treats aren’t complete without a card! The good folks at Milk-Bone, Pup-Peroni, Milo’s Kitchen, and Canine Carry Outs have made it easy for you this year with a doggie Valentine’s Day card. Get your own Valentine’s Day card for dogs! They’re so cute! You can print them out, then attach a treat! You can also have physical cards mailed to your house.
From coast to coast, which state loves dogs the most? A special Valentine’s Day survey of U.S. dog parents showed some interesting results. Check it out! Click on the picture to go to the full-size infographic for easier reading.

How do you show your love for your dogs? How do they make your life better?
A special day with my dog is to tell him I love him and pet him a lot. Give him some very special dog treats, and take him for a Walk!
I would love to sleep in with my dog, bathe her, get her nails clipped and take her for a nice walk.. followed by some treats and another nap.
I love a car ride with my dog, I love seeing how happy he gets in the car.
This is absolutely adorable! What will someone think of next?! I love giving our dogs treats but what a better way than a Valentine!
My puppy valentines day would include a nice long walk followed by a good lunch and then snuggle in a blanket to watch a movie
My state is #24 in doggie love, I am from VA.
Playing in the snow.
The perfect Valentines Day with my pet is a day playing with her and her squeaky toys.
The perfect Valentine’s Day with Rolly would be me winning the Powerball and/or MegaMillions; as for Rolly, I’d let him eat all the pillows he wants!
He would just sit on my lap and let me brush him. He would be a content puppy dog. Thank you
I always start out the special day wit a breakfast I make for them which is toast and scrambled eggs. I then show them their valentine basket which is filled with new dogs toys and treats. Then we head over for a long walk around the duck pond.
Seems to me a pretty good idea. But do our prime minister will agree to it LOL! And the designs are actually Good. The bitch will actually may fall I love with dog
