When you’re not exactly a genius in the kitchen, you need all the help you can get. I love the idea of making homemade goodies. I just don’t love the thought of buying a ton of ingredients and spending hours in the kitchen only to have my recipe come out like crap. Considering my lack of cooking skills, that’s always a distinct possibility.
When I saw that my friend Adelina became a Tastefully Simple distributor, I remembered my aunt making their bread and asked her about the other yummy foods I saw on her site. She asked if I wanted to host an online party. I, of course, said yes, because that means getting to try out some of their delicious top sellers so I can tell my guests about them!
Look Like a Genius in the Kitchen with Tastefully Simple
Tastefully Simple makes you look like a genius in the kitchen even if you have virtually NO skills. Take, for instance, this delicious Mandarin Orange Bread. All I had to do was add a can of mandarin oranges and a little water, then pop it in the oven. It came out SO delicious! Moist and full of flavor. I could never pull that off with a recipe from scratch.
Then there’s the cheese ball mixes. Oh, the cheese balls! The sweet, sweet goodness! I made both the Key Lime Cheese Ball and the Lemonberry Cheese Ball on the same day. Each one only requires half a brick of the average cream cheese package you get in the grocery store. Again, it takes seconds to put together.
Just mix the mixture with the softened cream cheese, then put it in the fridge for two hours to chill. When it’s ready, shape it into a ball! The Key Lime gets rolled into a yummy topping .The Lemonberry stays naked.
Grab graham crackers and dig in! It’s like eating a piece of cheese cake, except without all the baking and messy cleanup! You can also get Twisty Grahams from Tastefeully Simple and use those for dipping. If forced to choose between the two, the Key Lime Cheese Ball is my favorite.
Tastefully Simple has dozens of different mixes, spices and blends to help you make amazing dishes and dips with zero skills needed. Most of the recipes require just one or two extra ingredients aside from the mix. As far as time commitment, it’s a matter of mixing a few things, then waiting for it to bake or chill. So really, you can make everything in just a few minutes of your own time.
So, anyway, back to my party. Look, I’m going to be honest with you: my family stinks at remembering to order things from me! This is why I’ll never be a successful distributor myself. I’m heading to a family reunion, where I plan to take a few of the different dips and hit up second and third cousins that haven’t seen me in two or three decades. In the mean time, YOU are my guests too!
My party runs until June 21st, so if you’re planning on buying any yummy Tastefully Simple treats, can you pretty please do it through my party? If you’re NOT planning on buying anything, well, my friend, at least check out the offerings! I bet you’ll find a few things you’re dying to try! I actually got sidetracked while writing this and added like three new things to my cart! I want to try the Ginger Orange Sriracha Sauce on some chicken.
I’ll remind you next week with another post filled with yummy goodness. I’m going to try my hand at a trifle recipe. You’ll know I screwed it up if you end up seeing pictures of the chocolate pound cake alone instead. They’ll be my “just in case” pictures. Of course, with Tastefully Simple, you don’t need to try to make fancy recipes, you can just enjoy everything the way it is!
