Need a few delicious Labor Day recipes? How about 10 that take you from appetizer to dessert? Check out a few of my favorite Labor Day recipes from the best food bloggers around.
Labor Day is such a depressing holiday for me because it’s the end of summer vacation. Then again, this year our school district decided to send kids back the Monday before, so it’s also a happy day because my son is off. We’re not really big Labor Day party people. I usually just sleep late then order in. If you’re planning a more festive event, though, here are a few great Labor Day Recipes from appetizers to desserts to impress your guest!
Yummy Labor Day Recipes for Everyone
Aren’t these Grilled Zucchini Caprese Stacks so neat? Great way to make use of those fall veggies! They’re also low-carb and gluten-free, making them a great appetizer everyone can enjoy.
Speaking of Caprese, these Caprese Crostini Skewers are so pretty. Just get extra mozzerella and tomatoes, then you can make both appetizers in one shot. I’m not going to lie, I have NO idea what a Caprese is. Whatever it is, these are super cute and look easy!
Wow, there’s a whole lot going on in these Tuna Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers! They’re like the ultimate appetizer.
Love the taste of pizza but want something a little classier for your Labor Day party? Try this Pizza Pasta Salad recipe! I know I will!
Plain hot dogs are great, but these Firecracker Hot Dogs are even better! This is totally something I’d eat (except with turkey dogs). They’re absolutely festive and easy to make.
You could serve regular burgers, or you could go all out and serve these nifty Green Tomato Bacon Jam Burgers! Which do you think would earn you more “awesome hostess” points?
Who knew turning an apple pie inside out would make it so much easier to make? Love this Inside Out Easy Apple Pie, it’s such a unique spin on the American classic!
I’ll admit that I never heard of patty pan squash until I saw this Patty Pan Squash Crumble dessert recipe, but now I’m definitely on the lookout for it. Who knew squash could be so sweet?
Don’t just make cupcakes for dessert, make the most Perfect BBQ Cupcakes! These are too adorable! They don’t look very tricky to make either.
Finish off the night with the absolute coolest s’mores in the galaxy (and galaxies far, far away) with these oh-my-gods-cute R2D2 S’mores! Because what’s more American than Star Wars?
