College with Schick

Heading off to college is one of the most exciting times in your teens’ life. I remember it well, even though it’s been a smidge more time than I care to admit! It doesn’t matter if they’re staying in a dorm at a local school or a campus across the country, keeping up with beauty rituals away from home requires a whole lot of planning and list-making. That’s the hard part. The fun part? Shopping for everything on those lists! No really, it IS fun!

Shop Schick at Walmart

If you want to knock out your whole list in one trip, just head to your local Walmart. They have everything you need to make sure your teen looks and feels fabulous all semester long. Don’t forget the disposable razors, so they don’ t have to “borrow” from your stash! Walmart has the best selection of Schick disposable razors, my personal favorite for keeping everything smooth.

Whether they’re a Hydro Silk® kind of girl or a lean more towards the Quattro For Women®, you’ll find your teen’s favorite Schick® at Walmart.

Me? I like to mix things up. I don’t want my legs to get bored! Also, honestly, my decision depends on my budget. All the Schick® disposable razors are just fantastic, so I can pick whichever one best fits my wallet at the time and not feel like I’m compromising on my “feel fabulous” routine.

This time, I went with the Quattro For Women®. It’s one of my two favorites. I love it because it doesn’t take up much space in my incredibly cluttered shower. I have a TON of shampoos, conditioners, body washes, etc etc, never-ending etc. It also won’t take up a ton of space in your teen’s “shower” bag at college. That’s a major plus when they’re trying to tote all they’re essentials down a long hall to a shared bathroom. It’s a svelte little beauty tool!

I love that Schick® has so many disposable products in different price ranges. I remember at the beginning of my first college semester, I had extra money from all that graduation loot and my birthday (which falls in July). By the end, though, I was scraping quarters together to get the essentials. Literally, quarters. My gran used to send me rolls of them for laundry. I used to save my laundry, bring it home during break to wash and use the quarters to buy stuff I needed!

Thank goodness I over-packed when it came to clothes, right? I wore a lot of cute little skirts back then. Keeping up with my shaving routine didn’t just make me feel good about myself, it was pretty much a necessity.

Ready to start tackling that back to college beauty essentials checklist? Head to your local Walmart and get shopping! Next week I’ll share with you some ideas for what to include in a college “Feeling Beautiful” Care Package once the semester gets underway. Because, let’s face it: everything you buy them today will be gone by October! College kids go through things in a flash. I know I did!
