Notre Dame East Stroudsburg: An A+ School
I nominated my alma mater, Notre Dame in East Stroudsburg. It’s a secular school with elementary through high school on one campus. They accept students of all faiths (I’m a perfect example of that). I have many reasons for nominating them. The academic program is one of the best in the area, that’s for sure. For me, though, it’s all about the teachers. I honestly don’t know if I would have made it through school without them.
See, I suffered from adolescent-onset clinical depression in a major way. I didn’t just need to be monitored, I needed teachers who actually knew me well enough to understand my moods and predict when a downswing was coming. I needed teachers who knew me almost as well as my own family knew me. Notre Dame is a smaller school, with teachers who are incredibly passionate about their students. It was like a second home, a second family. Sometimes I think they knew me better than I knew myself!
Over the last 20 years, the teachers may have changed (although my principal is still there!), but the overall mission and spirit of the school remains. They’re an A+ school!
Make A+ Dinner in a Flash with Tyson®!
Remember, you can collect Tyson Project A+™ labels from participating Tyson® products to help support your schools. I made delicious chicken tacos with one of my favorites, fully cooked Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips.
I love them because they’re made with 100% all-natural and all-white meat. Plus they’re 97% fat-free! Anything that makes healthy home cooking effortless is A-okay in my book. Make that A+-okay! One package is more than enough for us, since we’re a family of three (me, my mom and Jacob). Once I’m all done with the package, I’ll just cut out the label and send it into the school:

My Daughter uses Tyson a lot because they are so quick and easy. Plus, the meals are very tasty and fresh.
Sounds to me like such a great way to support your local school, in the UK we have different programs that work the same way and schools are chosen to win money or school equipments
We buy Tyson products and we clip the labels. I like supporting companies that give back.
