We all want to help support our children’s schools any way we can. Sometimes, it’s hard, though. We don’t always have a ton of extra time to volunteer for school fairs or a ton of extra cash for all those fundraisers that come home. I really love when I can support my son’s school while also doing something I already do everyday: feed my family. With Tyson Project A+™, that just got easier.
Support Your School with Tyson Project A+™
The Tyson Project A+™ lets you support your school while also creating fast and easy meals the whole family will love. Just grab a package of Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips and you can create pretty much anything!
I grabbed my Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips, after Sal and I got back from a short vacation (just one night). While other Tyson® products are participating in Tyson Project A+™, I wanted something that makes meal time super easy. I also like that it’s 100% all-natural and made with all-white meat. That’s super important to me, I only like the white meat. Plus it’s 97% fat-free. Of course, it’s already fully cooked, which makes it super simple to incorporate into healthy home-cooked meals without me actually having to do much work. That’s always a win in my book!
My Walmart just remodeled the whole store and the shelves are a little bare in some spots. I think they’re in the process of rearranging the freezer section. Fortunately, they had a few packages of Tyson® out.
Easy Recipes With Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips
I made chicken tacos with my Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips. It’s a fast and easy meal. I’m super picky, so I usually just put cheese, sour cream and a little salsa on mine. Jacob just eats cheese on them. My mom prefers more vegetables. Tacos are great because they accommodate everyone’s tastes. Other options include:
- Cheesy chicken & pasta: just mix the strips in with your favorite pasta and a cheesy sauce (Alfredo, Cheddar, whatever you prefer)
- Pizza chicken kabobs: Alternate pieces of chicken with crusty Italian bread (or bits of baked pizza dough) and chunks of mozzarella cheese. Dip in pizza sauce.
- Chicken stir-fry: anything goes with stir fry! Use your favorite veggies and saute sauce.
- Grilled chicken gyros
- Chicken & avocado paninis
- Chicken salad
Really, you can make just about anything in a dash with Tyson® Grilled and Ready® Chicken Breast Strips! Once you’re done with the package, just flip it over and cut out the Tyson Project A+™ label. Then send it in with your child (or turn it into your school yourself) so they can redeem it for cash.
If you head over to the Walmart Tyson Project A+™ page, you can nominate your own school for a $1,000 reward! Learn more about the project on the Tyson Project A+™ website. You’ll see how to enroll, find your school and see the other participating Tyson® products. Supporting your school doesn’t get much easier than Tyson Project A+™!
