While summer was a time of road trips and leisurely vacations, fall means back to school and back to business for you and your car. I use my car more between September and December than I do any other time of the year. Between all the back to school shopping and re-shopping (for all the stuff I forget), the holidays and planning for said holidays, me and my car spend a lot of time together. Then, of course, there’s stocking up for the inevitable first snow storm that buries my poor car! Let me tell you, you need good tires to get out of that mess! After that incident last winter where my tire blew and left Sal and I stranded in the frigid cold for hours, I’m a lot more careful about my tires than I was in the past.
I think I am actually due for new ones because I had a bit of a flat last month. We used that stuff to fix the flat and it worked out okay, but I’m just so scared that something will happen again that I really feel like I should just replace them entirely.
Cooper Tire Fall Rebate Event
Fortunately, now is a great time to buy new tires with the Cooper Tire Fall Rebate Event happening! Now through October 31st, 2015, I can receive a prepaid Visa card worth up to $70 when I buy a new set of four qualifying Cooper tires through participating dealers. That’s on top of the already great everyday prices!
Our roads get pretty slick in the winter, so having good tires is a must. I’m checking out the Cooper CS5 Touring tires. They’re designed for everyday life situations and everyday drivers, like me! I don’t know about you, but in my area, my everyday driving involves a lot of braking and swerving to miss these beauties in the fall (that’s my road they’re hanging out next to!):
The CS5 Touring comes with Cooper’s exclusive Wear Square, located at six points around the inside and outside of the tread. As your tire ages and wears down, the square changes shape. Eventually, it becomes an exclamation point, which means you should head out and get some new Cooper Tires asap. It also alerts you to issues with your alignment.
I also think it’s time for my mom to get a new set for her SUV. The Discoverer SRX would be ideal for her, since they’re designed specifically for SUVs and CUVs. With 30 different sizes, I’m certain they’ll have one to fit her car. Plus it has that neat Wear Square too.
Both come with a premium 65,000-mile Tread Wear Protection Warranty and a 45-Day Road Test guarantee so you can make sure you’re getting a smooth ride. If you don’t love them, you can return them to your original dealer within 45 days of purchase for a FREE OF CHARGE Cooper brand replacement only, including mounting and balancing.
If you happen to be an off-roader, check out the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro. Yep, they even have tires dedicated to people who love to take their trucks off the beaten path! Me? I stick to the roads. I have a hard enough time crossing traffic without a light. I’m not brave enough to go it without the yellow lines.
Are you ready to replace your tires? Head to the Dealer Locator and find a Cooper Tire dealer near you. Then head in and take advantage of the great Cooper Tire Fall Rebate Event!
Do you use your car more often in the fall and winter? When was the last time you replaced your tires?
Those look like excellent tires! Mine need replacing on my car to give me a better piece of mind for this winter!
These are such nice tires. My mechanic says that my tires are all season, but I wonder if they have enough grip with the ice and snow where I live. I would love to get a set of Cooper tires. My tires are only 1 year old.
Love the photo of the deer! Yeah we have pretty intense winter weather here too and I need to check about replacing tires on all of our cars before we go out in the cold and icy roads this year! Thanks for the reminder and I will look into Cooper for our tire needs!
We just had to replace 4 tires on our VW Jetta, ($600 later, ugg)
Winter is coming so very quickly, we are going on a vacation in December so hoping the snow stays away
These sound like amazing deals! I am always so aware of my tires because I know if they aren’t in great conditino then no matter how great I drive I am still in danger. I will definitely have to check out these deals to help me prep for the change in seasons. Thanks for sharing!
The rebate event is something to look forward to. My brother uses Cooper Tires. He says the tires are excellent.
Sounds like a really great deal for some great heavy duty tires. I’ll have to tell all of the family about this rebate because in my large family, someone is always buying new tires.
Perfect timing. I was just thinking about snow and the need for new tires. I’ll pass this one onto the husband!
they look like great tires. i don’t drive, so i don’t need tires. i really should learn how to drive at some point. i’m from london, so have never really needed to drive.
We replaced our tires about a year ago. Certainly worth the investment. Does great on gas mileage. Living in Florida, there’s not a big driving difference depending on season.
These are nice tires, they sounds reliable too. It’s better to have tires that are durable rather than tires that you have to replace constantly, it helps with the budget.
I would like to get a new set of full tyres for my car for winter. Thanks for the great post recommending these tyres.
Sounds great! They look like some great tires! We don’t have a vehicle but I do know lots of folks who do so I’m sure this info would be great and handy for them!
Good tires are invaluable anywhere that gets snow that sticks to the ground. Last year, my car was sliding everywhere and I was so scared.
I hope I don’t need tires for a while, but will keep Cooper tires in mind when I need replacements. Glad snow it a oddity here and gone the next day if it does snow.
These would sure come in handy for us, I need some new tires like asap.
It’s my first tie to hear about Cooper Tires. I’ll tell my husband about this.
