If you consider Thanksgiving the start of the holiday season like I do, we’re just about halfway to THE  holidays right about now. By “the” holidays, you know what I mean! The giant ones. The bake all month long, clean your house for parties, shop like mad holidays. I’m ready to cry a little because I’m not even close to being ready! I’m definitely looking for shortcuts where ever I can find them!

I received coupons to try out a selection of Entenmann’s & Sara Lee desserts. I do have my favorites when it comes to Entenmann’s and Sara Lee, but for the holidays, I decided to look at them with fresh eyes and really think “how can they make my life easier?”

This holiday season, they have a few great recipes using their already delicious on their own products to shortcut your way to amazing goodies. I was really looking forward to trying this Sara Lee Brownie Chocolate Chip Cake Jar recipe, but alas, the brownies are out of stock everywhere in my town. I guess everyone else is making this one too?

My personal favorite Entenmann’s treats are their chocolate donuts! I love the outer chocolate layer, they have a texture like none other. It’s thicker, more like a chocolate shell, but still smooth and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. If you’re a fan, definitely try these Entenmann’s Dreamy Chocolate Bars!

While both these recipes are high on my “to make” list, I want to share the fact that Entenmann’s and Sara Lee snacks alone can be just the short cut you need!

For your holiday breakfasts and brunches, the Entenmann’s Holiday Sprinkled Pop ‘Ems are absolutely festive and adorable laid out on a red and white plate. You don’t need much more than that and a delicious cup of Entenmman’s coffee to make your guests happy!

If you want to get really fancy, these little Pop ‘Ems would look adorable on a cake pop stick. I’ve been thinking about trying that since I saw them, I just need to make a trip to the craft store across town to grab some.

We’re huge fans of the different danish flavors offered by Entenmann’s as well. The Raspberry Danish Twist is a great choice for holiday breakfasts. Cut it into slices and arrange it on a plate before your guests arrive and voila, you’re done! Again, it pairs beautifully with the K-Cups!

For dessert, you can’t go wrong with the Chocolate Fudge Cake. It’s so rich and delicious, loaded with creamy frosting. Add a festive touch by sprinkling some holiday sprinkles on top if you want!

Sara Lee has always been a hit with yummy treats from the grocer’s freezer, but did you know they have a whole new line of individually wrapped snacks? These treats include everything from delicious cinnamon rolls to cupcakes to the elusive brownies that I am on the hunt for! My son loves their Chocolate Creme Cupcakes, while I’m a huge fan of the buttery delicious crumb cakes.

Aside from using them as ingredients in your holiday recipes, the Sara Lee Snacks help you shortcut your way through the holidays by keeping your guests out of the party food you spent hours prepping! How? Stock up on a variety of snacks and keep them on hand to give overnight guests a sweet treat to enjoy other than the cookies that you’re saving for the main event. Trust me, you’ll want to do this! Every year, we stop buying snacks and goodies because we figure “we have cookies!” Yeah, we have cookies right up until we need them, then they’re gone because we had “just one” here and “just one” there!

Find all the delicious Entenmann’s and Sara Lee goodies you need to shortcut your way through the holidays in your favorite grocery store!
