This Valentine’s Day (and beyond), get glamorous while giving back and supporting breast cancer research with two fabulous beauty products from Estée Lauder!
If there’s one thing I love than the confidence boost I get from a great new shade of lipstick, it’s the feeling I get from knowing that my purchase is going towards helping in the fight against cancer. See, about a year ago, my aunt was diagnosed with brain cancer. Before that, fighting cancer was definitely something I felt strongly about. Now, though, it’s more than a passion, it’s a necessity.
My aunt’s diagnosis has made me a lot more conscious about buying products that support all types of cancer research. I’ve been a long-time fan of Estée Lauder because they’ve made it their mission to fight against breast cancer. In 1992, the late Evelyn H. Lauder founded the The Estée Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign, launching the now-iconic Pink Ribbon. Since then, The BCA Campaign has raised over $58 million to support breast cancer research, medical services and education.
Treat Yourself & Give Back with Estee Lauder Pink Ribbon Products
*I received the products mentioned below in exchange for sharing this news. All opinions are my own.
This year, treat yourself- or your loved one- to two fabulous products that will have you looking and smelling lovely while also feeling great about giving back. The first is the gorgeous Estée Lauder Evelyn Lauder and Elizabeth Hurley Dream Pink Collection.
The Dream Pink Collection comes with three mini Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipsticks just right for trying out new colors. With names like Rebellious Rose, Powerful and Tumultuous Pink, you’ll feel like the pampered superstar that you are inside. Aren’t these colors just beautiful?
The collection comes all pretty in pink in a travel bag that’s roomy enough for all your other Valentine’s Day date night essentials and retails for $33.50. 20% of that goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Want a simple and effortless way to look and feel great on Valentine’s Day…one that you can also feel great about purchasing? This February 14th, opt for pretty and portable Pink Ribbon Products from The BCA Campaign, that all support lifesaving research through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
For those who prefer the natural look (hey, I get it, not everyone has a armory filled with shades of lipstick!) or if you’re looking for a great romantic scent to go along with your glamorous kiss, check out the Estée Lauder Modern Muse Solid Perfume Keychain. It’s oh-so-pretty yet incredibly practical! It’s a stylish keychain AND a great way to freshen up your perfume on the go.
Estée Lauder describes the scent as “an alluring contrast of sparkling florals and sleek, sensual woods.” To me, it smells kind of like a moonlight walk in the woods, after the flowers have gone to bed for the night. You know that they’re there, but they’re not jumping out at you. The keychain has some weight to it, so it won’t get lost in your purse! It’s not like paperweight heavy or anything, I just like that it’s not flimsy. You know what else I like? The fact that 100% of the $49.50 suggested retail price goes towards BCRF.
Every Action Counts on World Cancer Day & Every Day
Did you know that February 4th, is World Cancer Day? In honor of the day, The Estée Lauder Companies’ BCA Campaign is unveiling a special interactive experience on BCAcampaign.com, driving a 24-hour donation effort, in continuation of this year’s theme, “Every Action Counts. What’s Yours?”
They’re asking for your help. How?
- Visit BCAcampaign.com on World Cancer Day (February 4th) and create a custom video or image of beautiful animations with inspiring words such as hope, strength and friendship, that will visually show support for all those touched by breast cancer
- Share your video or image on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with #BCAstrength
For every custom video or image created on BCAcampaign.com and shared on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter with #BCAstrength on World Cancer Day, The Estée Lauder Companies will donate $24 to fund lifesaving breast cancer research through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) with the goal of funding up to $24,000 in 24 hours. This is just one part of The BCA Campaign’s global fundraising efforts to raise $6 million in support of breast cancer research, education and medical services this year.
