Norm of the North released on Digital HD yesterday, and to celebrate I have a really cute free printable activity for your kiddos. I’ll also share a few fun clips to get you excited.
If you recall, back when Norm hit theaters, I did a post on the great life lessons in Norm of the North. That post was based on the little information I had on the movie at the time. Jacob and I wanted to go see it in theaters, but it was a bad winter for my car and we never had the chance. Now that it’s coming out on the Blu-ray Combo Pack on April 19th, I’ll definitely be seeing it!
Who is Norm of the North?
If you missed all the buzz about Norm when he hit theaters, let me catch you up. Norm of the North is a Lionsgate film about a lovable talking polar bear who doesn’t quite fit in with his arctic pals. He’s supposed to become king of the Arctic one day, but he’s just not sure he has what it takes. The other polar bears thing he’s a bit odd, what with his singing, dancing and ability to feel human-life emotions.
When Norm finds out that developers are planning to pave his frigid paradise and turn it into the ‘burbs, Norm gathers up his trusty lemming pals and heads to NYC. There, he plans to confront Mr. Greene and put a stop to the development of his home, but he somehow ends up becoming a mascot for the very people he’s fighting against. Talk about an identity crisis!
Can Norm get back to his true self and finish his fight? Will he stop the nefarious Mr. Greene from wrecking one of the last natural habitats left on our planet? We’ll have to watch the movie to find out! Remember, Norm of the North is now available on HD Digital and will be released onto DVD and Blu-Ray Combo Pack on April 19th.
Norm of the North features the voice talents voices of Rob Schneider (Grown Ups), Heather Graham (The Hangover franchise), Ken Jeong (The Hangover franchise), Colm Meaney (Con Air), Loretta Devine (TV’s “Grey’s Anatomy”), Gabriel Iglesias (Magic Mike), Michael McElhatton (HBO’s “Game of Thrones”) and Bill Nighy (Love Actually).
