This post is brought to you by UPtv & The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.
Good news, Team Braverman Parenthood is coming to UPtv! Starting on May 30 at 8 pm, you’ll have a chance to fall in love with one of TVs most endearing families all over again!
Some shows just stay with you long after the credits roll on the series finale. Parenthood is definitely one of those shows. Not just because of the touching story lines or the so-true look at what it’s like to raise kids in today’s world, but because of the Braverman family itself. They’re more than just another TV family, they’re the dream.
I think every single Parenthood fan wishes they could step into their TV and become part of that family. Who wouldn’t want to be a Braverman? They are fiercely loyal and always there for each other. Even when they get into a fight, if something comes up they come together to work through it. If you’re already a fan, you know what I’m talking about. If you’ve never seen the show, well, let me tell you what you’re missing!
Experience Parenthood from the Beginning
Parenthood is, first and foremost, about family. Unlike many TV families, though, the Bravermans feel REAL. You can totally relate to them. Maybe not all of them all the time, but I bet there’s at least one Braverman that’s just like you. That’s the beauty of the show: just about everyone is represented within that family.
Me? I relate to Sarah Braverman. A single mom who made some mistakes when she was younger and wants to make sure her teenage kids don’t do the same. She moves back home to live with her parents until she can get back on her feet. She’s smart, witty and yes, a little flawed. I’m a single mom who made some mistakes when I was young. Now I’m raising my son with some help from my mom, trying to keep him from making the same mistakes. I’m smart, witty (if I do say so myself) and yes, a little flawed. Okay, so that’s probably where my comparisons to Lauren Graham end, but still, I can relate to Sarah. I even have a sibling who is a super successful attorney.
Maybe you relate better to the super successful Julia and the stay-at-home-father Joel, or to Adam and Kristina? Maybe you’re even a Crosby? He may seem like he’s avoiding growing up, but when parenthood literally comes knocking on his door, he gets it together (with a little help from his family, of course). The point is, there’s a little of all of us in the Bravermans and a little Braverman in all of us.
The beautiful thing about the Braverman family is how they come together for all of life’s trials and tribulations, milestones and celebrations. No matter what life throws at them- including surprise children- they just roll with it. When Adam and Kristina’s son is diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, for example, they join together to support not just him, but the entire autism community. They are always all in.
Don’t miss the premiere of Parenthood on UPtv!
UPtv is the perfect station to reunite with Parenthood. After all, their new tag line is “We Get Family!” Parenthood joins other fabulous family shows (like Gilmore Girls!) and movies. One really great thing about the station: they air shows in blocks. Parenthood starts at 8 and runs through midnight. So basically, you get to spend the entire evening with the Bravermans!
Check out all this cool Parenthood gear I got. That’s my name there, see? So that means I’m a Braverman, right? Which means I can totally crash their next dinner?
If you need me, you know where I’ll be on May 30th at 8PM! Curled up on my couch under my cozy new blanket watching the premiere of Parenthood on UPtv! In the mean time, check out Parenthood on UPtv for the full schedule of episodes. Check out UPtv on Facebook to keep up with news!

I have to admit I don’t think I’ve heard of this show before at all! I totally need to look out for it though as it sounds really good! x
I never really got into this show, but I keep think about going back and watching it. I’m glad to see it is on a network so I can catch up with all the season even after the show ended.
I loved this show and I was so sad that it left. I am happy to hear I can watch it on UpTV.
We tried out Parenthood and ended up watching two episodes a night until we finished every season. It was a great show! It’s great that it’s on UPtv.
I’ve heard so many good things about this show and how can you not possibly relate to it too, especially when you have more than one kid. This is definitely a must watch for parents.
That sounds good, I’d love to watch shows that centers its plot around families. I bet I can also relate to Sarah even if I’m not exactly a mom yet. Thanks for the recommendation!
