Think you need to go to a specialty store to find foods that are better for your family? Think again! You don’t have to go any further than your local Giant grocery store! Did you know that they have over 1,000 Nature’s Promise foods all throughout every aisle? From peanut butter to frozen fruit, they’ve got just about every major food covered.
Shopping Organic Made Easy With Nature’s Promise at Giant
Honestly, up until fairly recently, I didn’t think I could afford to eat organic. There were a few things that I’d buy organic when possible, like fruits and veggies, but overall, I was overwhelmed by the cost of “eating clean.” A lot of stores in my area charge up to 4 times as much for organic foods versus the non-organic. I don’t know about you, but I don’t really have a big enough grocery budget to pay $3 for a single apple!
Nature’s Promise at Giant is a total game-changer. They have an enormous selection of USDA-certified organic foods and “Free-From” foods for those looking to eliminate all the extra, unnecessary ingredients from their diet. Best of all, the prices are absolutely affordable and within my budget and they’re easy to find. I’m not limited to a single aisle of organic foods. Nature’s Promise items are right alongside other non-organic choices. That means if I’m shopping for yogurt, I just need to go to one dairy aisle to find it.
Early Riser Mixed Berry Protein Smoothie Made with All Organic Ingredients
I’m sure you know this by now, but I’m all about easy recipes and quick meals. Sometimes, it’s hard to find better-for-you options in convenience food. That’s not true of Nature’s Promise, though. I found plenty of great foods that I can use in super simple recipes (or enjoy just by themselves!).
You know how much I love smoothies, right? I can pack a whole lot of nutrition into a glass and drink it while I work. Check out this delicious smoothie recipe I created using only Nature’s Promise ingredients. It’s the perfect boost I need for the upcoming hectic back to school mornings. I’m definitely not a morning person!
Ingredients Makes 2 servings
- 1 cup Nature’s Promise Vanilla Soy Milk
- 1 cup Nature’s Promise frozen mixed berries
- 1 cup Nature’s Promise Vanilla Yogurt
- Optional: 1 tablespoon Nature’s Promise Hazelnut Spread (sometimes I like a to make mine taste more like chocolate-covered fruit, other times I just want to savor the berry flavor. FYI, the Nature’s Promise Hazelnut Spread is awesome! Try it on whole-grain toast!)
Directions: Put everything in a blender or smoothie maker and blend. That’s it! I like to enjoy mine outside while the weather is nice, especially on those early mornings. I find that I can’t quite wake up until I go out in the sunlight for a few minutes. I think it sends a signal to my brain that I really am awake and can’t crawl back into bed. Mornings in my backyard are nice because we have a lot of wildlife in my neighborhood. If I’m lucky, I can catch a deer grazing. Sometimes I even see a black bear running through the woods! Given the choice, I absolutely prefer to feed my family better-for-you food. I think we all want that, right? Yet we all have a budget that we need to stick to. Nature’s Promise lets me stay in my budget and easily choose better options without having to make an extra trip to a health food store (or even to a separate aisle!).

Have you tried Nature’s Promise before? Which ones do you love?
I’m a big green smoothie drinker. It really helps get my morning going. I haven’t tried any products from Nature’s Promise, but I will keep my eye out for them next time I go grocery shopping. The hazelnut spread is calling my name.
Oh that flavor sounds really nice. I wouldn’t mind making this smoothie. I definitely could use the protein boost.
Organic is the best option when it comes to preparing your own food. I love that they have a line of products that you can use for smoothies and snacks!
The flavors sound nice and would be good for a protein boost.
This sound really nice!
Ive been trying to incorporate more protein into my diet because I’m terrible about it!
I wish I had a giant store near me, so I could try out these amazing products! They sound great!
That looks so good! I love smoothies, and now I’m just wishing there was a Giant near me!
I just bought a mixer and I need to make lots of smoothies for my breakfast. Thanks for sharing your very nutritious and healthy recipe! Love it!
That smoothie is calling my name. I love a good fruit smoothie, and this one looks outstanding to me. I would love to try it!
That smoothie looks great! I have never tried this kind before and can’t wait.
I love smoothies, even more when they’re healthy for a reason. Even though it’s a small unrelated detail, I like it’s purple/pink color, matches my tumbler!
Wow, I love organic foods. I want to try this smoothie, it looks really delicious.
This is a nice smoothie. The last time I had one, I feel so refreshed!
mmmm That looks good. Simple and easy way to get breakfast or any quick meal. Thanks!
I love organic foods so much and anything that involves berries! A smoothie out of mixed berries along with Vanilla Soy Milk & yogurt makes me so hungry. The recipe looks delicious & mouth watering that I would give it a try right away.
This looks amazing! I especially love adding the hazelnut spread to it. Thanks for the idea!
I have always thought we just couldn’t afford to eat organic. I suppose looking into it truly before deciding would be smart. And I think I shall. 🙂
I Love smoothies but most people done realise how much sugar they take in fruit smoothies, and yes its natural BUT its being taken blitzed to so it is absorbed PDF and if that mama is a WAHM they sit on their butt for hours so even if they exercise, they arent burning those bad boys they drank in the morning fast enough…and guess what sugar turns into…Good ole fat! This one looks yums
I love smoothies and I often create apple smoothie with my favorite phase 8 protein supplement.
I love smoothies and make one every day for breakfast, but I have not tried organic berry protein before.
I could definitely see me making this smoothie for my family. It would be a great boost to their nutrition on those days we are running non-stop.
