I love the variety of the pictures, with everything from ornaments to polar bears, and something for every skill level.

Adult Coloring Book: Magic Christmas: Comes with 30 pictures, printed on one side of the paper. According to the reviews, the paper is lightweight, so if you use markers you’ll need to place a piece of paper or something behind it. The designs are relatively simple, making this a good one for beginners or people who don’t have the patience to complete complex designs.

Creative Haven Winter Wonderland Coloring Book: Creative Haven has some really cute adult coloring books based on different themes. This one comes with 31 wintry scenes (in case you didn’t glean that from the cover and the name!).

Christmas Designs Adult Coloring Book: This one features 31 pages, all on heavyweight paper that doesn’t bleed through, and perforated pages so you can easily pull them out to display your finished project. Based on the sample pages, it looks like it has something for all skill levels.

Christmas Treats: A Holiday Coloring Book: I thought this one would be more about cookies and food, given the name, but it’s not. It features 30+ traditional Christmas designs. You know, like Santa, trees, ornaments, etc. Based on the reviews with pictures, it really has a great variety!

Christmas Coloring Book for Adults from Happy Coloring: While this one only comes with 24 pictures in the book, it also gives you access to download a PDF file with more pictures from the Happy Coloring line.

Merry & Bright Holiday Coloring Book: This one comes with 32 different holiday designs from all different artists. I absolutely love the Christmas owl design! Since the pictures are created by different artists, you get a really good mix of styles. 


Merry Christmas: The unique thing about this one is that all the pictures are printed on a black background, so your colors really pop off the page. The pages are smaller than many of the other coloring books on this list (8.5 x 8.5). I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing, it depends on your preference I suppose.

Creative Haven Vintage Christmas Greetings Coloring Book: Feeling nostalgic for your childhood Christmas’? This one comes with 31 vintage-style designs to color. They’re recreated from authentic illustrations, so it really is like stepping back in time!

Home for the Holidays: A Hand-Crafted Adult Coloring Book: Nature is front and center in this beautiful book featuring 72 pages of hand-drawn wintry scenes. The only downside to this book: the pictures are printed on both sides.
