Subscription Boxes That Give Back
Affiliate links included below. Thanks for your support!
1- Anchor of Hope Box
Support refugees and survivors of human trafficking with a subscription box that directly impacts families of those who really need some hope. The Anchor of Hope Box comes with 2-4 handmade items each month, and the money goes right to the artisans to help support their families. You’ll get everything from jewelry to artwork. Each item comes with gift tags, so you could actually buy a box and break it up into several gifts if you’re trying to save money.
2- Fair Trade Crate
The Fair Trade Crate is exactly what it sounds like, a crate filled with fair trade items from around the world. They pick out fun items that are whimsical and practical and deliver them right to your doorstep. They also look for items that promote efforts to stop human trafficking and the destruction of endangered species. The cause depends on the region of the world. Each box is filled with goodies from a specific region, along with a special item that helps support a cause from that region.
3- International Blessings
Each Box of Blessings empowers artisans from underdeveloped countries build a better life for themselves. The box isn’t just filled with quality handmade items, but those items actually tell the story of the artisan. You’ll get 3-4 items per box. Not only do they make sure the items come from artisans receiving fair wages, but they also give a 10% donation from every box to poverty-fighting causes.
4- Little Loving Hands
Want to get your kids involved in giving back? Little Loving Hands is such a unique way to do it. Every month, your kids receive a box full of materials to make a special craft to donate to a worthy cause. The box also comes with educational materials so kids can understand where their work is going and who it will help. You’ll also receive a pre-paid return shipping envelope so you can mail the finished product back for distribution to the cause.
5- Causemetix
Don’t worry, beauty product fanatics, I found a box for you, too! With Causemetix, you’ll get a box of beauty and bath products, accessories, and even home decor from artisans around the world. The box comes in a couple of sizes, and you get to choose your favorite charity for them to donate to on your behalf.
6- Worldly Box
7- Brunch Candle Box
A little something for my fellow coffee lovers! Brother’s Coffee really believes that you can change the world one cup at a time, and they set out to prove it by donating $1 from each subscription to Grounds for Health, which screens for and treats cervical cancer. You’ll get a new roaster every month along with an informational sheet about the coffee. All of the coffees are ethically sourced from different sustainable roasters.
This is a great idea to always have gifts on hand. I am torn between Causemetix and Worldly Box.
