5 Gorgeous Statement Piece Watches for Your Fall Wardrobe
You can find all of these gorgeous watches at MyGiftStop. A place to shop for that last- minute gifts whether for men or women, My Gift Stop has the best selection of luxury and designer brands at incredible prices, perfect for fall.
I feel that statement pieces should actually make a statement! I know most fashionistas use the term to describe a piece that stands out, but to me, it should also say something about your personality. So, for these statement watches, I shared my thoughts on what they represent to me.
1. Rose Gold Watches
Let’s start with my favorite, shall we? I’ve never been much of a gold person (I prefer silver), but rose gold is a whole different story. It’s a softer shade than your typical flashy gold, so it goes great with just about anything in your wardrobe.
It was hard to pick a favorite, but I am in love with this Caravelle rose gold watch! It’s super affordable, so it fits into pretty much any budget. I love the combination of steel and rose gold. It makes a powerful statement: you can be soft and gentle yet fierce and strong!
2. Quartz Watches
Quartz watches use quartz crystals to keep time, making them perfect for those who need a watch that’s always precise and accurate. I love the idea of giving a quartz watch to a powerful business woman or your favorite female entrepreneur. Basically, someone who just screams “precise and accurate,” in a good way!
You have so many different style options with quartz watches, from fun & flirty pinks to strong & mighty steel. I really love this Citizen Swarovski Crystal Steel Watch. The silver color goes with just about any power outfit, while the mother of pearl face adds a softer touch.
3. Ceramic Watches
Did you know that ceramic watches are said to be harder than stainless steel, according to the Women’s Watch Buying Guide on My Gift Stop (scroll to the bottom of the page to see it). They are also lighter, making them ideal for people like me who don’t like the feel of a heavy watch.
Going with the “tougher than steel” theme, I love the idea of giving this watch to a real survivor, someone who hasn’t always had it easy, yet still manages to keep it all together. Someone who has been through many struggles yet is still standing.
My favorite is this ceramic blue Bering watch. It’s a little different from the lighter-colored watches I’ve shared so far, but the face reminds me of the midnight sky. I love the combination of soft and strong touches.
4. Automatic Watches
So, apparently everyone knows that automatic watches are self-winding. I actually did not know that. I assumed they ran on battery power, but they really run on YOU power! Well, sort of. They wind themselves through their own mechanics plus your motion.
These watches make a couple of great statements. They can either say “I’m so busy, I don’t even have time to wind a watch!” or “I’m so awesome that my very existence can power my watch!” My favorite is this Invicta watch. I love the steampunk style with part of the inner guts showing! To me, it says that who we are inside matters even more than who we are outside.
5. Digital Watches
Digital watches with plenty of bells and whistles are perfect for adventurers and travelers. Most of them offer many different functions, including alarms, stopwatches, and more.
My favorite, this Casio watch, includes up to 5 daily alarms, a stopwatch, and a full auto calendar that’s programmed up until 2099. It can also display the time in 29 different time zones, so you’ll always know what time it is no matter where your adventures take you. Plus, it’s super cute!
I really feel like watches don’t get the attention they deserve these days. I know a lot of people who say “I can just look at my phone.” True…unless you forgot to charge it, or you left it at home, or you forgot to turn your ringer back on so that you could actually hear your alarm, or…you get the idea. A watch is just more dependable, and with so many great styles, it’s a stunning fashion accessory, too!
