Motivational Quotes to Inspire You in 2019
1. Stop comparing yourself to others
“Happiness is found when you stop comparing yourself to other people.” So true! I just talked about this in my mental health resolutions post.
2. Do more of what makes you happy
I would also add: do less of what makes you miserable!
3. Want to get ahead? Get started!
You can’t get ahead if you never start, right? I need to take this advice and finally start writing that fiction book that I’ve been planning in my head for a decade!
4. Think like there is no box!
Forget just thinking outside the box, think like the box doesn’t even exist!
5. Failure builds dreams
The best way to find out what you’re meant to do is by finding out what you aren’t meant to do!
6. Just keep going!
Think of it this way: a snail may move slowly, but he always gets to where he wants to go! Well, unless someone steps on him or runs him over, but let’s just pretend that doesn’t happen. 😀
7. Do what’s right.
Sometimes the right thing to do isn’t the easiest, but it’s better than doing to wrong thing just because it’s more convenient. I think we could all use this reminder these days!
8. Change your world
Just changing the way you think about things can completely alter your entire existence.
9. Be the voice!
I love this one, because I know WAAAAAY too many people who just parrot what others say without ever thinking an original thought. Stop echoing, start thinking for yourself!
10. Broken crayons still color
I’ll leave you with my favorite inspirational quote of the moment: broken crayons still color. We’re all a little broken in some spots, but we still have great value. Remember that.
These are all such wonderful and motivating quotes!
These are good ones! I also like “by the inch it’s a pinch, by the mile, it’s a trial.” It helps me make small steps towards a goal. Some people seem to be able to tackle a task or project in a huge way, for me, inch by inch, works best. Especially just starting, that can encourage you with that small success to do more!
