June 21st wasn’t just the first day of summer, it was also the big launch date for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, a totally new CTR experience that adds customization for the first time and so much more!

What’s New in Crash™ Team Racing Nitro-Fueled?

Crash™ Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is  available for all major platforms, including PlayStation 4 (and PS4 Pro) Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One (including the Xbox One X).

In the game, the stakes are high and the competition is fierce as players race with a variety of Crash Bandicoot^TM series characters, including Crash, Coco, Dr. Neo Cortex and others against the egomaniacal Nitros Oxide to save our planet from destruction. In the game, fans will be able to see Crash and friends’ expressions and antics in beautiful fur-k detail as they blast each other with power-ups and whiz around the corners in all the tracks from the original CTR game, as well as reimagined tracks and karts from Crash™ Nitro Kart. What’s more, the legendary kart racer debuts competitive online gameplay just in time to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

A totally remastered experience

The entire Crash Team Racing experience was rebuilt from the ground up by remastering the original Crash Team Racing game to modernize all of the characters, karts, tracks, and arenas for today’s modern console HD graphics.

Customize Your Karts & Characters

For the first time in 20 years, you’ll have the ability to customize both your karts and your characters! The remastered experience gives you plenty of ways to mix and match kart bodies, wheels, paint jobs, and even stickers & decals!

Crash Team Racing fans will have the opportunity to customize their karts and characters in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled! The remastered game will offer players a variety of ways to mix and match kart bodies, wheels, paint jobs, stickers, and even add decals to karts.  Now fans – both new and those who first fell in love with the ’90s classic — can create a sweet looking ride!

In addition your karts, you can also  customize your racers with some N. sane character skins and really show off your personality! Some skins even have unique animations when they celebrate their victories at the podium! You’ll earn some customization items when you play in Adventure Mode and others by collecting Wumpa Coins.
