Last fall, I fell in love with Mia Mariú after trying out a few of their amazing mineral makeup products. What impressed me most back then was how gorgeous the shades looked without having to cake on layers of product. When I was given the chance to check out their Colors for Your Every Mood pack, I did the happy dance.
I’m a makeup addict. I have an entire three-drawer unit filled with all sorts of different colors of blush, lipstick, eye shadow and so on. I love trying new colors out. Of all the makeup filling my drawers right now, I can honestly say that my Mia Mariú products are my favorite!
Mía Mariú Colors for Your Every Mood Mineral Makeup
When Mía Mariú says they have colors for your every mood, they mean it! I received a Colors For Your Every Mood set that included the Uniquely You Touch Up Kit with mineral blush, mineral powder and three mineral eye shadow shades. I also received Hydrating Stick Gloss in three stunning colors.

One thing I really love about Mía Mariú mineral makeup is that a little bit goes such a very,very long way. Seriously, like a dusting of the eye shadow is enough for both eyes. Same with the blush. In fact, I used the blush I reviewed last year around this time every single day for a year and I still haven’t run out. Of course, it really depends on how dramatic a look you want to go with. If you’re going out for the night, you can safely go a little heavier for a richer look.
That’s me wearing the blush, powder, purple eye shadow and the lighter shade of stick gloss. It’s the only picture I took in which I don’t look completely psychotic. Oh, and I used PicMonkey to “dye” my roots, because the grey was coming through. I may or may not have used it to get rid of some fine wrinkles on my forehead that you can only see up close. I’m not telling you. Wrinkles! What is up with that? I’m not even 40 yet! You know why I have them? Because I always make that psychotically surprised face in all my self-portraits!
Anyway, back to the glorious makeup that has become the love of my life (well, after my son, boyfriend, family, blah blah blah, you know what I mean). Like the eyeshadow and blush, the Hydrating Stick Gloss can be adjusted to fit your mood. One light swipe for the day, one heavier swipe for the night. True to their word, it really does hydrate. It also stays put, so I don’t have to make room in my already cluttered purse to bring it with me whenever I go out.
