I received my free bottle of Purex Complete with Zout about three weeks ago, but I wanted to really try it out before posting my opinion. Plus, I just received the giveaway coupons today, so it all worked out. For those who haven’t heard of it, Purex Complete with Zout combines the cleaning action of Purex detergent with the stain-releasing action of Zout. As a mom of a five year old boy, I’ve tried just about every single stain remover on the market at one point or another, including Zout spray. While it may not get out those really deep-seated stains (I’ve yet to find anything that does), it does a great job of removing most other types of stains, including relatively hard to remove ones.
I received the Fresh Morning Burst scented laundry detergent, although it also comes in Free and Clear. The scent isn’t overwhelming, which I appreciated because I was still using my Purex Crystals and preferred that scent (currently, the lavender one) to shine through. While Jake isn’t quite as messy as he was when he was a toddler, he’s still pretty rough on clothes. Like most kids, he seems to prefer his sleeves over a napkin, and those are always the dirtiest part of his shirt. The Purex Complete with Zout did a good job of getting out random pudding stains, and even helped fade the blood stain on one of his white shirts from when he got clocked in the nose on the bus (elementary school kids are brutal these days!)
Purex Complete with Zout is safe for both regular and high efficiency washing machines.
