LoveBookI tell my little munchkin that I love him about 100 times a day. He’s the center of my universe, and I want him to always know how much he’s adored by his Mommy. I’m not sure I tell him enough why I love him though. I know I do sometimes, but it’s always rather generic. Like, “I love you because you’re the best kid ever!” So when I saw the review opp  on Tomoson for a book that allows you to tell someone exactly why you love them, I signed up right away. At LoveBook Online, you can create a hardcover or softcover book that lists all the reasons you love your child, spouse, parent, best friend, or random stranger down the street.  THe easy-to-use LoveBook Creator will help you start building your book in minutes. Choose your cover, edit your text and illustrate with the adorable LoveBook stick characters.

The whole process was extremely simple. I went with the blue sailboat cover and titled my book “Why I Love Jacob,” with a subtitle “From Mommy,” you know, just in case he forgets in 20 years that I’m the one who loved his cute  feet, even when they’re a little stinky. Although how he could forget, I have no idea, since he’s always shoving them in my face saying “Hey Mommy do my feet smell?” Boys! Once I picked the cover and added the text, I went through the extensive list of reasons why you may love someone and picked out a bunch that pertained to Jake. I edited the text a bit on a few (I added the bit about stinky feet),but a lot of my choices were perfect as writtem (i.e. I love that you are artistic). Aside from the library of pre-written love reasons, there is also one of cute little stick figure designs to add to each page, so you can really customize the whole book. My book was created and shipped fairly quickly. However, keep in mind that each book is custom made, so if you need it by a certain time, you should check their  Shipping Calculator to determine estimated delivery date.

My only issue is that the text is only printed on one side of each page, so you all the pages on the left side are blank. It’s not a huge deal, as they aren’t charging you for those blank pages (when you order a 20 page book, you GET 20 pages of text and pictures). I did think it would be nice to be able to add your own pictures, but then I thought “well, there are dozens of places that already do that,” and the stick figures really are unique and charming. I really love that it looks and feel like a regular book, and that each one is completely unique.
