Today is my little brother and future sister-in-law’s Jack and Jill Wedding Shower. In our family, we prefer to just throw big parties that everyone can attend rather than just for the women. We have a lot of out-of-town relatives that we don’t get to see often, so this works out great. We’ve spent the entire last week cleaning like lunatics so that when the guests arrive, they’ll think they’ve stepped into some sterile, pristine model home that no one has ever dared to live in. I’m taking the rest of the day off to finish making my house insanely perfect, then enjoying the party. Have a wonderful weekend!
