I’m all for the traditional box of chocolate on Valentine’s Day. I’m all for chocolate in general! But sometimes you want something a little different, a little more original yet still delightfully chocolatey. I highly recommend trying Isabella’s Cookie Company for times like that. They sent me a bag of their new Chocolate Sugar Rush cookies that are available for a limited time (Jan 23rd through Feb 17th, so hurry up!). These cookies were insanely delicious. The base of the cookie is a modification of Isabella’s Cookie Company’s original Sugar Rush cookie, except in chocolate flavor. The top layer is a rich chocolate frosting topped with pretty pink sprinkles. The result is an amazing cookie that satisfies even the most finicky sweet tooth.
The cookies came in the cutest mini reusable tote bag, making the packaging as pretty as the prize inside. They were very well packaged, not a single broken bit in the bag (pardon my alliteration). They arrived on a freezing cold day, and I couldn’t wait until the thawed out to taste them. The cookies taste just as good ice-cold as they do at room temperature, and they don’t get all icky in the thawing process the way some chocolate does.
If chocolate isn’t your thing, Isabella’s Cookie Company offers other really cute Valentine’s Day cookies. Of course, you don’t need a romantic holiday to enjoy these cookie. They would be awesome year round, with flavors like Rocky Road, Dark Monster Mocha, and Peanut Butter Bomb. They also offer several vegan cookies.
All of the cookies are made with no artificial ingredients or preservatives, so they only have about a two-week shelf life. Believe me, they’re not going to make it much further than the first few days because they’re so delicious. When you order from Isabella’s Cookie Company, your cookies are made fresh before they’re shipped out to you. Need customized cookies for a special event? Call the company and talk to them about your needs, and they’ll help you come up with something awesome.
