Can you believe it’s already time to start thinking about back to school shopping? I went to the mall the other night and every single store is advertising sales for the season. Some stores are practically done with back to school gear and moving on to Halloween already! I am not even kidding you right now. I went down to a relatively popular discount store to pick up some last-minute summer stuff. Not only was the summer stuff gone, but the BTS stuff was already crammed into one tiny aisle to make room for Halloween and Thanksgiving. At this rate, I’ll have to buy my holiday decorations in September or risk missing them entirely. Crazy, right?
Squeeze the Last Bit of Fun Out of Summer & Save Money Too
Chuck E. Cheese, a place that knows all about how to have fun, teamed up with Payless to help you squeeze the last bit of excitement out of your vacation AND start your back to school shopping at the same time. They’ve made pizza and shoes a symbiotic relationship! Here’s the deal:
From July 17 to September 6, all Chuck E. Cheese’s customers will receive $10 off a $30 purchase at Payless and likewise, all Payless customers will receive two coupons for Chuck E. Cheese’s.
This is just one more fabulous way to save at Chuck E. Cheese. I always bring coupons along with me because they let you stack them. Before I head out, I check the Deals & Offers section on the Chuck E. Cheese website. I also use their reward calendars to get free tokens. We’ve been taking Jake since he was about two and he still loves it. Who wouldn’t? All the games take just one token and the pizza is yummy!
You also know I’m a big fan of Payless! I got so many cute things there last fall and winter, from comfy boots to ruby red slippers. My favorite thing I ever bought there though are these moccasins.
These deals are such a great way to have a little fun before the summer ends (especially on those super hot days when you can’t stand being outdoors!) and save a little cash on much-needed back to school shoes.
What do you love about Chuck E. Cheese? Do you shop at Payless?
Sounds like a fun way to end a long day of back to school shopping … thanks for giving me ideas!
Definitely was on our list before back to school. My youngest loves Chuck E Cheese.
This place is awesome for kid’s birthday parties! They take care of *everything*!
I don’t understand the average 2 star rating. Chuck E. Cheese in San Bruno just got a complete make over and it’s a hit with our 3 and 6 year-old daughters.
We had a 3rd birthday party for our 2nd daughter and it was the easiest, most exciting birthday party we’ve ever had. We live in San Francisco where parents try their best to put on mega-expensive birthday parties featuring the bubble man ($400 a pop) or Frozen princesses, but our daughter LOVES coming here.
